Next week Wednesday 20 June is Crazy Wig Wednesday.
Thursday 21 June is our first day of ice skating.

Also remember our poetry Eisteddfod is only three weeks away. Please help your child to choose a poem (it can be one from their poetry book), and start practising it soon. I have included the marking schedule:
Introduction 5
Say the name of your poem
Say the name of the poet
Say why you chose the poem
Presentation 10
Say your poem with expression
Make eye contact with the audience
Try not to rush
Look like you are enjoying sharing your favourite poem
Preparation 5
Know your poem off by heart
Choose a poem that the Year 2 audience will like

Use a loud voice so that we can all hear
I have included some photos from our Firefighter Charlie's visit. Some children were dressed up as firefighters and had to wave the "smoke" up and down. Others had to get down, get low and get out to escape the imaginary fire. Firefighter Charlie had to go back in and rescue Quinn who was stuck inside.
