Friday Art- Our families

Wednesday 1 February 2017

Term 1 Week 1

What a lovely day we had today.

We had fun learning some new games and having a tour around the school. Mrs Eastwood kindly answered our list of questions that we had about our school.
Eg: When was our school built? Who mows the lawns? Why can't we play on the big kids playground?.....

Please remember to pop in a water bottle tomorrow and their book bag from last year. It was great to see most children had a sunhat too. Sunhats are to be worn term 1 and 4, so please arrange to get one if necessary.

Don't forget sausages available tomorrow,( every Thursday) $2, in a named envelope please.

Everyone has a reading book tonight. These are books a few levels below where they finished last year just to get back into reading for the year. For some books you may need to give them some support. I will retest everybody in a couple of weeks and go from there.

There were a few tired children by the end of the day, so early night tonight !!
