We are all set to make our sock puppets in the morning ... Friday at 9-10am and would love your help if you are free. Just need to be handy with a hot- glue gun!! Thanks you

I am planning to make sock puppets and do some stitching with the children for Art this term.

Can you please find an old sock that your child could use to make a puppet with. If you have any spare scraps of fur, material or wool, we'd appreciate that too.

Term 3 Important Dates

Welcome back.
It sounds like everybody has had a great break and we are all ready for another busy term ahead.

Here are some important dates for the term, that I know about so far!!!

*Thursday 28th July - Blossom Festival Float Meeting, 3pm in Room 2. All welcome.

*Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd August, 11am, final two days of skating.

*Thursday 4th August - Waste Audit, Parent helpers appreciated, with your gloves!!

*Friday 5th August - Room 7 Assembly

*Wednesday 10th August - School Cross Country

*Saturday 13th August -Parish Family Mass, 6pm, starting with a meal at 5pm.

*Friday 19th August - School Mass led by Rooms 1, 2 and 7.

*Tuesday 23rd August - Central Otago Cross Country

*Wednesday 24th August - School Open Afternoon

*Sunday 28th August - Whole School Mass, 9am.

*Monday 12th September - School Photos

Last day of Term 2

On Friday all Catholic Schools in NZ are having a mufti day to raise money to  build a new school in the Soloman Islands. Please bring a gold coin.

We are also having a Rippa Rugby inter- house tournament on Friday afternoon. Your child has been asked to please dress in sports gear of their house colour.

There will also be a School Mass at 12 o'clock led by Rooms 3 and 4.

Eisteddfod Finalists

These children are the finalist for Room 7 and will be presenting their poem tomorrow.

The School Eisteddfod Poetry finals will be held Thursday 1.30-2.30pm in the school hall. Everybody welcome.

How lucky we have been, having 2 beautiful sunny days for skating!!

Skating

Skating is all go for this week starting on Monday, then Tuesday and Thursday. We will be having our 2 catch up days in week 2 of term 3 - Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd August. Time over the holidays to get in some practice from next week's learning.
